Reaching the HOMER Center

The most convenient airports are Zagreb (Franjo Tuđman Airport), Rijeka, Trieste, Ljubljana, and Venice.

From Zagreb airport

From Zagreb airport, you have several options.

• Rental car — Hire a rental car and travel towards Rijeka and the island of Krk via the highway E65. There are toll fees of approximately 10 EUR, payable in cash or by card.
• Airport shuttle + bus — Take the airport shuttle to the Zagreb Central bus terminal, then catch a bus to Rijeka or the island of Krk. The nearest towns on Krk are Malinska or the town of Krk — we can pick you up from either if you make arrangements with us in advance.
• Collective taxi — We can arrange a collective taxi (up to 8 people) to bring you directly from Zagreb airport to the HOMER Center. The cost is approximately 200 EUR — 25 EUR per person when shared between 8 passengers.

Rijeka Airport

Rijeka Airport is only 30 km from the Center. It's a local airport with frequent flights to a number of European towns during the summer months, but a rather limited schedule in winter. We can pick you up from Rijeka airport with prior arrangement.

Trieste, Ljubljana, Venice

The airports of Trieste, Ljubljana, and Venice are 160, 186, and 270 km away from the HOMER Center respectively. There are no direct buses from these airports — the best option is to rent a car or arrange a taxi ride.

When you arrive in Croatia, follow road signs for Rijeka, and once near Rijeka follow the signs for the island of Krk. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs for the town of Krk (road D102). After about 20 km, take a right turn when you see the sign to Valbiska and the ferry for the island of Cres and Lošinj (road D104).

On D104, drive approximately 5 km and take the right turn towards the villages of Milohnici and Glavotok. You'll soon arrive at the village of Linardici, followed by Milohnici and then Brzac.

In Brzac, keep right and follow the sign for Kamp Glavotok. After about 500 meters, you'll see a white building with sport facilities on your left. Turn left there and follow the signs to Lotus Resort — HOMER Center is on the same grounds.

If arriving by bus from Zagreb or any other EU city, take the bus to Rijeka. From the Rijeka bus terminal, take the bus to Malinska or the town of Krk. We can pick you up from either town if you make a prior appointment and share your time of arrival.
