Founder of the School of Awareness, Ivan Bavčević has led summer DOPust retreats at the HOMER Center since 2024 — immersive programmes in meditation, energy work, and conscious living.
Since the summer of 2024, Ivan Bavčević — known to many as *Bava* — has hosted his annual DOPust retreat at the HOMER Center: an extended summer programme blending meditation, energy work, and conscious living in the quiet of the island of Krk.
His work centres on awareness — meeting body, mind, and emotion with presence, and using meditation, breath, and energy practices as everyday tools for healing and balance.
## About Ivan Bavčević
Ivan Bavčević is the founder of the School of Awareness, where he teaches meditation, spiritual development, energy work, and Reiki. Drawing on years of personal practice and of guiding others, his retreats invite participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore a more conscious way of living.
At the HOMER Center his summer retreats have become a returning fixture of the season, offering a supportive space for both newcomers and experienced practitioners.
